Christians in Public Life

Dan Gilgoff writing in US News & World Report gives an excellent balanced view of a “controversy” concerning Rick Warren’s invocation prayer at the inauguration.

I read in the comment section of the story:

“embarrassed to be on the same planet with such a blatant lack of sensitivity to others[‘] mores” – charles pervo of OH

I responded in part:

what about my religious values and practices make them embarrassing enough that it’s necessary to suppress Christians’ right to pray in public?
