Harvard Researcher Agrees with Pope

Citing risk compensation or behavioral disinhibition, which means that people tend to take additional and unnecessary risks when they believe they will be protected from the consequences, Harvard AIDS Prevention researcher, Dr. Edward Green, says the Pope is right when he preaches that condoms are inadequate for preventing AIDS, and that fidelity is necessary for real prevention of the spread of the deadly disease.
